There are many ways to cook a pork chop. Some prefer to pan-fry it for a crispy kick while others bake it in the oven. Personally, the recipe below is by far my favorite way to cook a pork chop. Not only is the end result delicious, but it also hardly requires any effort on my part.
The secret behind this recipe is the use of a slow cooker and special blend of seasonings.
To start, you will need the following ingredients:
- 6 pork chops
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 2 cloves of smashed garlic
- salt & pepper
The slow cooker does most of the work in this recipe. All you need to do is create the seasoning.
Place 6 pork chops in the slow cooker.
In a mixing bowl, blend together all the ingredients. Mix it until everything is mixed together. The key is to have a little bit of all the spices and seasoning in every bite!
Then, pour the seasoning over your pork chops.
Now, let it cook on low for approximately 6 hours. That’s it… you’re done!
Doesn’t the end result just look delicious?
