New Grape salad

Creamy grape salad is an awesome dessert recipe, made with bright green grapes and red grapes, and frosted with smooth sour cream and topped with crunchy pecans to yield a sweet and sour combination. An awesome treat for adults and kids alike.

If you know me well, then you will know that I am obsessed with fruits. I could probably live the rest of my life eating just fruit – In fact, most of my recipes are fruit-based. Apples, strawberries, pineapples and grapes are some of my best fruits. Not only are these really healthy, but they can also be made into almost anything and give you a really delicious taste.

This grape salad recipe is just one on my long list of salad recipes. And I must say, it is one of the very best – an instant hit with anyone I prepare it for. Once it’s grapes season, this recipe is always the first thing on my mind. It’s great for weekend BBQs or potlucks. It’s also great as a side dish, or can be made for small parties like baby showers. As I said, it’s always a hit wherever it’s called upon.

There’s a lot to love with this recipe. There’s the fact that it is one of the healthiest recipes you could ever make, there’s the fact that it is one of the easiest deserts to make – in less than 10 minutes, you have this prepared and ready to throw down, then there’s the awesome combination of flavors and the the sweet, creamy smooth crunchy texture with every bite. This salad is truly one for the ages.

Another good thing with this salad is that it looks as good as it tastes.  Just imagine big, juicy crisp grapes surrounded by a creamy goodness, then the top is sprinkled with brown sugar and chopped pecans for the perfect finishing touch. This one will get you salivating even before getting a bite.

Ingredients
16 oz sour cream
16 oz cream cheese
1 cup sugar
Couple squirts of pure vanilla
Approx. 4 lbs green seedless grapes
Approx. 4 lbs red seedless grapes
Maybe 4 cups pecans
1 quart strawberries

Preparation
Blend cream cheese and sugar together, then, add sour cream and vanilla. Fold in all other ingredients making sure to coat evenly. Save a little fruit and pecans for garnishing. This recipe will feed 15/20 people.
When this recipe is done, you can use the low fat sour cream and cream cheese. You can also use Splenda. You can use any other fruits you want. (If you use apples, be sure to do a lemon juice/water bath on them first.) You can also sprinkle with brown sugar.
