Lemon Ginger Tea

Lemon Ginger Tea

Serves 4-8; 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS
  • 8 cups water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 lemons
  • 8 slices ginger, 1 inch in diameter each
  • 6 tablespoons honey
PREPARATION
  1. Boil water in a teapot or stockpot.
  2. Cut lemons in half, and juice 3 halves. Cut remaining half into thin slices.
  3. Add cinnamon sticks, lemon juice, ginger slices and lemon slices to the hot water. Cover and steep for 15 minutes or longer.
  4. Add honey to taste. Serve immediately, or store in glass jars and refrigerate for up to 4 days.
