How to Clean Your Pots and Pans of Burnt Grease?

Cleaning the greasy pans after you have used them to cook a nice delicious meal are every woman`s nightmare. Generally, we all reach for rubber gloves or for chemical cleaning products in order to remove the greasy layer and clean the pans. However, what you don`t know is that these tools can do more harm than good.

Here are some simple and easy ways to perfectly clean your pans with ingredients that you already have in your home:

  1. Take one potato, peel it and cut it in half. Put some baking soda on one of the halves. Rub it on the pan directly as if you are using a sponge. It is simple, easy and very effective, try it!
  2. You may find it a little bit unusual, but tea bags can also help you clean your pans and pots. Take a tea bag that has not been used and go all over the greasy pan. Your tea bag must be dry. You will notice how the grease dissolves and absorbs in the tea bag. About 2 bags would be enough to clean your pans. You can use any kind of tea.
  3. Another effective way to remove the grease buildups from your pans is to take a pot or anything else that is large enough so the pan can fit in. Add 4-5 tablespoons of baking soda. Add some water and boil for 30-50 minutes. All you have to do is just wipe any greasy remains.

No special effort needed, just some time. It is most convenient for strainers, forks, spoons, lids, and other kitchenware that are hard to clean with a sponge.
