Slow Cooker Ranch Pork Chops Without Canned Soup

These slow cooked pork chops are simple with just a few ingredients. We aren’t using canned soup because, honestly, I don’t use that as an ingredient a whole lot. But, if you are looking for the saucy canned soup type of pork chops (no judgement here) there are plenty of that style of recipe around the web.

Nope. We’re using pork chops, potatoes, olive oil, dry ranch mix, apple cider vinegar and butter. No special ingredients needed.

How Long Do Pork Chops Take To Cook In A Crockpot

What Type Of Pork Chop Is Best For Slow Cooking

While this recipe can be made with bone-in or boneless pork chops, I’m gonna be honest, boneless chops are not the best for slow cooking.

The bone helps to keep the pork chops from drying out.

Ingredients

3 Lbs Red Potatoes – quartered

6 (3/4 inch) Boneless Pork Chops (or bone-in if available)

1/2 Cup Olive Oil

2 Tablespoons Dry Ranch Seasoning

2 teaspoons Apple Cider Vinegar

2 Tablespoons Butter – cubed

Instructions

Sear pork chops in oiled skillet over medium/high heat. (optional)

Mix oil, ranch and apple cider vinegar.

Place potatoes and pork chops into slow cooker. Pour ranch mixture over the top and toss to coat potatoes and chops evenly.

Top with butter cubes.

Cooking on high heat for approximately 3 hours. On low, 5-6 hours. Salt/Pepper to taste.
